24, Apr - One year after its foundation, the innovative startup ZOPPEL, which aims to integrate the classic medium of comics with the world of video games and blockchain, launches the first of five volumes of the eponymous comic on Kickstarter.
Titled "Beyond Fear," the 80-page full-color album - illustrated by Luca Martinotti aka Solomacello and Enrico Vassallo - transports readers into an extraordinary universe set in an extreme future, where the galaxy survives the suction of a black hole, giving rise to a new era. Two profoundly different twin planets emerge from the duplication of Earth: while the explorer Anna Napee battles city-devouring monsters called 'shadows,' Roger Ocean, a young programmer, lives on a planet completely covered in water. Despite living on different planets, Anna and Roger's destinies intertwine in dreams, opening the doors to a startling mystery.
"Beyond Fear" will be available for purchase in PDF and paperback format on the Kickstarter platform, and the campaign features the collaboration of some giants of the artistic world for the creation of variant covers, available during the crowdfunding period: Danijel Zezelj, renowned international illustrator and comic artist, Fr3nk (Francesco Liori), and Laura Braga, incredible Italian comic artist and collaborator of Marvel.
